Rules

Service

  • It can be performed with any part of the body except for the arms and hands.

  • Done at a minimum distance of 2 meters from the table.

  • If the ball hits the corner on the serving side and falls on the same side, it's a fault and a point for the opponent. If it hits the corner on the serving side and crosses any part of the table or hits any other corner, it's a "LET" and the serve is repeated (maximum of 2 serves).

Game

  • Minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 touches per team before returning the ball to the table.

  • The same player cannot make 2 consecutive touches.

  • The ball can only have 1 contact with the table, 2 or more is a fault and a point for the opponent.

  • If any player touches the table (attacker or defender), it is considered a fault and a point for the opponent.

  • A point and service are won whenever a team fails to comply with the number of touches, lets the ball hit the ground, or makes the ball hit the table surface more than once.

Movement

  • Except for the service (which must always be performed from each team's side), the game can be played 360 degrees, allowing points to be scored in any direction.

  • Collisions between players from opposing teams should be avoided as much as possible.

  • If they occur intentionally, it's a fault and a point for the opposing team.

  • If they occur casually, the point is replayed.

Table Corners

  • The position of the player making contact with the ball and attacking the table defines one corner as the attacking side and the others (see image).

  • If the ball hits the corner on the attacking side and falls on that same side, it's a fault and a point for the opponent.

  • If the ball hits the corner on the attacking side and crosses any part of the table, exiting through one of the other corners, it's a point.

  • If the ball hits any of the other corners, it's a point.
